Who is this offer suitable for?
For customers with their own, external infrastructure (e.g. their own data centre or their own router/AS) who want to announce an IPv6 prefix themselves. We do not perform on-site configuration or ongoing administration.
Who handles abuse handling?
Since the resources are registered under your own RIPE organisation, you manage them yourself, including abuse handling. We offer additional management support on request.
Do I need to already have a RIPE organisation?
Yes. We do not create a RIPE organisation for you – you need to set one up yourself with RIPE in advance. We then register the rented prefix under your existing organisation.
Who configures the RDNS entries?
You configure the RDNS delegation yourself, using your own nameservers, after ordering. It is then automatically validated and registered with RIPE.
Do I need my own AS number?
To announce your prefix yourself via BGP you need your own AS number. If you don't have one yet, you can rent one from us as an add-on service.
Who is my contracting partner?
These resources are marketed on behalf of our parent company, which is the RIPE LIR and owner of the resources. Your contract is concluded directly with us, NUXOA GmbH.
Can I upgrade to a larger prefix later?
Yes, you can switch to a larger prefix or add further resources at any time.
What is the contract term and notice period?
The contract term is 12 months, with a notice period of 3 months.
